We’re excited to invite Leslie Adams, PhD, MPH to join us on April 11, 2024 as the third guest lecturer for the spring 2024 SPIRIT speaker series.

She will be presenting on “From Crisis to Connectivity: Exploring Innovative Smartphone-Based Solutions to Confront Suicide in Black Communities.”

Dr. Adams is an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her work focuses on the intersection of gender, race, and mental health to examine socially-determined mental health disparities in Black communities.
